| POLICE DEPARTMENT INFORMATION | The City of Kiel maintains its own police department to provide law enforcement services 24 hours a day to its citizens.

The police department consists of twelve sworn officers and one (1) civilian employee. Chief Funkhouser and his staff have sworn an oath to dedicate themselves to providing professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Kiel, our local businesses, and visitors to our fine city.

Non-Emergency Calls for Service / General Questions: Officers are available at all times, day or night, by contacting our 24-hour dispatch operated by the Joint Dispatch Center located in Manitowoc, WI at 920-683-4200.
Office Hours:
The police department's office hours are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Police Reports:
Copies of police reports are available and provided upon approval by the Chief of Police or his designee. There is a minimal fee for any report copies and the department requests that a report request form is completed at the time a request for a report is made. Requests can be made in person at the police department, via US Mail, or Fax. Contact the police department for information on how to obtain copies of our reports and to request a form.
