Stepping On Class
Stepping On is well researched falls prevention program. The Stepping On workshop meets for two hours a week for 7 weeks.
Topics include:
* Simple and fun balance and strength training exercise
*The role vision plays in keeping your balance.
*How medication can contribute to falls.
*Ways to stay safe when out and about.
*What to look for in safe footwear.
*Sharing with others.

Classes are held at the Kiel Community Center (upper level)
March 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 5th, 12th, and 19th.

Strong Women(women only)/Strong Bodies(men and women) class: Strong Women classes are held on Tues. and Thurs. mornings from 9 am to 10:10 am. Strong Bodies classes will be held on Tues. and Thurs. morning from 10:30 to 11:40 and Tues. and Thurs. evenings from 6 pm to 7:10 pm. Next 12 week session begins on Jan. 2 and goes to March 29th. Cost: Suggested fee of $15.00. Classes held at the Kiel Community Center (lower level).

Kiel Public Library: Hosts Reminisce which is for individuals with mild to severe memory loss or dementia. Reminisce awakens memories through historical objects to engage minds and recall memories from the past. Event held at the Kiel Community Center(lower level) from 1 to 1:45 on Feb. 14th, March 14th, May 9th, and June 13th. For more information please call Ruth Weigel at (920) 694-1219.

Tae Kwon Do Classheld Thursday evenings at the Kiel City hall from 5 pm to 6 pm March 1st to April 5th
 Open to ages 5 yrs. to adult. Cost is $30 for 6 week session. Registration forms available under the recreation department tab. No uniform required. Please call Missy at 894-7861 with questions.

VFW Memorial Bricks: Purchase a brick to honor or remember a Veteran. Bricks will be place in Veteran’s Park, Kiel. All bricks are 6” x 12” and are $50. Order forms available on the Citizen Information page under the VFW Memorial Brick tab.

Pickle Ball is played at the City Hall Gym: Wednesday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and Sat. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
