Kiel EMS Position:
 Works under the direction of the City Fire Department’s EMS Director. The position(s) are part time and hours assigned will reflect part time employment, hourly (nonexempt).

City Wide Trick or Treat: Sunday Oct. 28th from 4 to 6 pm.

Trick or Treat Fest: Sunday Oct. 28th from 1 to 4 pm Kiel Middle School Gym. Fun for the whole family! Bounce House, Limo Rides, Face Painting, Pumpkin Bowling, Magician and so much more. FREE and open to the public.

City of Kiel Revaluation
The City of Kiel is undergoing a complete revaluation of all assessment records for 2019. The new assessments will be done by Joe and Paul Denor of Fair Market Assessments. Fair Market Assessments have been handling the assessment duties for the City since 2002.
In August residents will begin receiving letters asking to schedule an appointment for the revaluation. Joe and Paul will begin in the Rockville subdivision. By December of 2018 all residences will have received a letter.

Notice: The Walking Trail east of Hwy 67 (behind Lana's Pet Grooming) will be closed beginning Oct. 1st 2018 until Mid June 2019.

Park bathroom closures:  Lions Park, Belitz Park and Kiwanis Park bathroom are now closed for the winter month.

Leaf Pick-up :
Leaf Collection – October 8, 2018 through November 26, 2018
The City of Kiel Streets Department will pick up leaves starting Monday, October 8. For pickup, leaves must be placed near the curb, either in the terrace area, which is the area between the sidewalk and curb, OR near the curb if there is no sidewalk. Please do NOT put leaves in the street – this clogs street drains. Also, pickup does not include grass clippings, sticks and branches, or garden waste. Those items must be disposed of at the Kiel Drop Off site, located at 414 Eighth St.

The City Drop Off Site:
Open Tues. and Thurs. from 4 to 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm, located at 414 Eighth Street

Fall Class Schedule:
Sept. 4th to Nov. 29th, 2018
Classes are held at the Kiel Community Center lower level on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 am to 10:15 am and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 7:15 pm.

Tae Kwon Do Class: held Thursday evenings at the Kiel City hall from 5 pm to 6 pm Oct. 11th to Nov. 15th 2018
 Open to ages 5 yrs. to adult. Cost is $30 for 6 week session. Registration forms available under the recreation department tab. No uniform required. Please call Missy at 894-7861 with questions.

VFW Memorial Bricks: Purchase a brick to honor or remember a Veteran. Bricks will be place in Veteran’s Park, Kiel. All bricks are 6” x 12” and are $50. Order forms available on the Citizen Information page under the VFW Memorial Brick tab.

Pickle Ball is played at the City Hall Gym: Wednesday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Thursday 8 am to 11 am and Sat. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
