Kiel EMS Position:
 Works under the direction of the City Fire Department’s EMS Director. The position(s) are part time and hours assigned will reflect part time employment, hourly (nonexempt).

City of Kiel Revaluation
The City of Kiel is undergoing a complete revaluation of all assessment records for 2019. The new assessments will be done by Joe and Paul Denor of Fair Market Assessments. Fair Market Assessments have been handling the assessment duties for the City since 2002.
In August residents will begin receiving letters asking to schedule an appointment for the revaluation. Joe and Paul will begin in the Rockville subdivision. By December of 2018 all residences will have received a letter.

The City Dump is now open Tues. and Thurs. from 4 to 7 pm (until 8 pm Memorial Day through Labor Day) and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm

Spring/ Summer Strong Women/ Strong Bodies Schedule:
What does the program consist of?

The program consists of a short warm up followed by strength training with free weights and ends with a balance exercise and stretching.
Who would benefit and why? 
The StrongBodies/StrongWomen program is based on years of research on how strength training and proper nutrition improve the health of people of all ages.  “Strength is a critical factor In living healthier, more active lives.  Our research shows that a program of strength training not only improves bone density but reduces falls, improves arthritis symptoms, and increases flexibility and strength,” states Dr Nelson.  The program is appropriate for both sedentary and active people.

Class begins for another 8 week session on April 5th, 2018-May 31st, 2018. Tues and Thursdays.
9 am- 10:10 Strongwomen
10:30-11:40 StrongBodies
6 pm-7:10 StrongBodies
June 19th through August 16th Tues. and Thurs. 9 am classes only offered
Please note: StrongBodies class is a women's and men's mixed class.
Suggested fee is $10.00 for the 10 week session.

Tae Kwon Do Classheld Thursday evenings at the Kiel City hall from 5 pm to 6 pm May 31st to July 5th, 2018
 Open to ages 5 yrs. to adult. Cost is $30 for 6 week session. Registration forms available under the recreation department tab. No uniform required. Please call Missy at 894-7861 with questions.

VFW Memorial Bricks: Purchase a brick to honor or remember a Veteran. Bricks will be place in Veteran’s Park, Kiel. All bricks are 6” x 12” and are $50. Order forms available on the Citizen Information page under the VFW Memorial Brick tab.

Pickle Ball is played at the City Hall Gym: Wednesday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Thursday 8 am to 11 am and Sat. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
